Dear Parents,
Volunteers have come forward to provide an opportunity for families to transition from the United Parishes Soccer Club to Shooting Irish Soccer starting with the Fall 2023-24 season. Shooting Irish has long provided a successful youth Lacrosse program and now intends to develop a soccer program starting with U6 and U8 within their own organization. U6 & U8 Programs: More information regarding registration for the Fall 2023 season will be coming over the next few weeks. More parent volunteers are still needed to help run practices and scrimmages. U9-U15 Program: Shooting Irish Soccer intends to rebuild the U9-U15 program, but will be unable to offer league play during the 2023-24 season. There are a few organizations still in York offering tryouts for the Fall season. For older players still wishing to develop their skills, Shooting Irish Soccer is hoping to offer some clinic/developmental opportunities this Fall. The new email address for future communications regarding the transition is: ShootingIrishSoccer@gmail.com Please email if you are interested in helping with the transition for the Fall. Keep an eye out for more information and volunteer opportunities coming soon. The success of the new program depends on parent volunteers -like you. Thank you On September 28, 2016 United Parishes Soccer Club filed Articles of Organization as a Nonprofit with the Pennsylvania Department of State.
