Dear Parents,
Volunteers have come forward to provide an opportunity for families to transition from the United Parishes Soccer Club to Shooting Irish Soccer starting with the Fall 2023-24 season. Shooting Irish has long provided a successful youth Lacrosse program and now intends to develop a soccer program starting with U6 and U8 within their own organization. U6 & U8 Programs: More information regarding registration for the Fall 2023 season will be coming over the next few weeks. More parent volunteers are still needed to help run practices and scrimmages. U9-U15 Program: Shooting Irish Soccer intends to rebuild the U9-U15 program, but will be unable to offer league play during the 2023-24 season. There are a few organizations still in York offering tryouts for the Fall season. For older players still wishing to develop their skills, Shooting Irish Soccer is hoping to offer some clinic/developmental opportunities this Fall. The new email address for future communications regarding the transition is: ShootingIrishSoccer@gmail.com Please email if you are interested in helping with the transition for the Fall. Keep an eye out for more information and volunteer opportunities coming soon. The success of the new program depends on parent volunteers -like you. Thank you United Parishes Soccer Club will be closing at the end of the Spring 2023 seasonFor more than a decade, with the help and hard work of committed leaders, the United Parishes Soccer Club has been able to provide a successful youth soccer program to our community. However, over the past few years we continually experienced difficulty finding new volunteer coaches and club officers to maintain the continuity of our organization. Two years ago, our current officers signaled that they were ready to move on from the club and would provide support during the transition to new leadership. A call went out to our community for new volunteer leadership, but unfortunately too few responded. Regrettably, the board has no alternative, but to close the United Parishes Soccer Club after our Spring 2023 season.
We are saddened at this decision, after working so hard over the years and doing our very best for the children in our organization. We would like to thank the children and parents that have been a part of our organization all these years. The biggest thanks must go to the leaders and coaches, whose hard work and dedication have provided a respected youth soccer program in York County. I’d like to say, “Well done and thank you,” to each one of you. Tim Staub United Parishes Soccer Club President United Parishes Soccer Club welcomes new and returning players for the Spring 2023 season. Please complete registration by December 31st.

New Registration Process
This year, parents take ownership of their own family accounts.
Now, the UNP Registration page will redirect to the GotSport system, where parents submit player information, payment, and purchase uniforms as necessary. The advantage with GotSport is that parents can manage their players information and is securely stored for use again next season.
If this is your first time with UNP, then you will create a new account for your player.
