U8 (co-ed) Recreation Program
U8 Director: Tom Kellett
United Parishes Soccer Club runs their own U8 (co-ed) recreational soccer program, which is intended to introduce first and second graders to the game of soccer. All players will learn and reinforce fundamentals of the game such as dribbling, passing, and shooting techniques as well as an introduction to field positions, in order to prepare them for league play at U9 and above. Teams are co-ed and include the use of a goalkeeper. Rules are simplified and coaches are responsible for refereeing their own games.
