Build Out Line (U9-U10)
- When the goalkeeper has the ball, during play or from goal kick, the opposing team must move behind the build out line until ball is put into play.
- the build out line is equidistant between the penalty box and half field line
- the goalkeeper is not allowed to punt the ball, instead must pass, throw, or roll the ball back into play. Once the goalkeeper releases the ball from their hands, then the opposing team is allowed to re-enter the build out area.
